Merus is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain team.  

This role is vital for managing and overseeing the supply chain planning and execution processes crucial for both clinical and future commercial drug supplies. Positioned at the forefront of our supply chain operations, you will be integral in driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our supply chain processes, ensuring our innovative therapies reach their necessary destinations on time. 

Your Role:

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain –  from forecasting demand and supply planning to the final delivery. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain and supporting the Supply Chain Managers, you will: 
  • Oversee the entire supply chain planning and execution process for clinical and commercial drug supplies. 
  • Facilitate planning cycles, create scenarios, and monitor plan execution through comprehensive reporting and analytics. 
  • Maintain a forecast model for all assets, providing standard and ad-hoc analytics and reports to facilitate demand/supply reviews with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Monitor daily inventory positions and shipping activities across the supply network, initiating corrective actions as required. 
  • Project manage specific improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain planning capabilities. 
  • Support monthly demand & supply planning cycles, long-range planning (LRP), budget cycles, and ad-hoc scenario planning in support of clinical development and future commercialization plans. 

Your Profile:

We are looking for a proactive and process-oriented individual with a strong background in supply chain management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. Your analytical skills and ability to manage complex logistics will be critical to your success in this role. 

We are looking for a candidate with: 
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. 
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Supply Chain Planner, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Strong competence in supply chain management tools and processes, with a keen ability to provide insights and forecasts that aid in decision-making. 
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. 
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, driving initiatives with a proactive and committed approach.

    Stage 1:

    Internal Review

    This means that we’ve received your application and are in the process of reviewing it.

    Stage 2:

    Initial Call

    We’ll set up a 15-minute phone call with our Internal Recruiter to discuss the details of this job opportunity and your own expectations of the role, as well as Merus as a company.

    Stage 3:

    1st Interview Phase

    During the 1st interview phase, we’ll set up an interview with your potential future manager. We’ll be looking to understand more about your experience, how that fits the role, and what makes you tick.

    Stage 4:

    2nd Interview Phase

    If things are still looking good, we’ll set up several short interviews with team members, peers, Management Team members (where relevant) and HR to make sure we are a good cultural fit. We do our best to plan these interviews on the same day, although on rare occasions they’ll take place on multiple days.

    Stage 5:

    Job Offer

    After positive evaluation from both sides, you will receive our job offer. Once you’ve accepted it, we will draw up the necessary paperwork. You will receive your contract within 3-5 working days and your onboarding process will start!
