Customer Engagement Director
This field-based role is a key member of our Brand Team, serving as the primary commercial point of contact with large and community group Oncology practices, academic institutions, and other customer groups.
The Role:
- Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in targeted oncology accounts.
- Execute approved branded sales messages and promotional approaches to meet or exceed brand objectives.
- Manage customer accounts, addressing product access, reimbursement issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access, to provide comprehensive support throughout the patient journey.
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers in the oncology community, driving product advocacy and influencing treatment paradigms.
- Lead and execute designated marketing and demand-generation projects, with an emphasis on content development involving KOLs and genomic testing experts.
- Provide strategic and operational guidance to the Brand Team on marketing initiatives and diagnostics projects.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of brand strategy, competition, and evolving oncology treatments.
Your Profile:
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; advanced degree (PhD, MBA, MS, MD) preferred.
- 5+ years of commercial sales/account management in the pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry, with at least 3 years of oncology experience preferred.
- Proven experience in account management, engaging with Oncology KOLs, and driving strategic marketing initiatives.
- People management experience is required for Senior CED positions.
- Strong interpersonal, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
- Digitally savvy, comfortable with various digital marketing tools and data analysis.
